The Idiot Who Wandered From His Village In Texas (again) Rejected In Toronto

Carrot Can and Will … present an Opinion for Carrot’s Tidbits consideration..

From TheBlaze.com: University Cancels George Bush Speech Amid Student and Faculty Protests

George W. Bush (he's the one at the bottom of the urinal)

George “Dubya” Bush, former US Supreme Court appointee to the White House’s Oval Office, also known as ‘The Idiot Who Wandered Away From His Small Village In Texas’, was refused permission to speak at Tyndale University in Toronto.  The event was, in all likelihood Carrot assumes, simply penciled in anyway.  It was scheduled for 20 September and will not be rescheduled, university officials said.  Dubya’s cancellation was the result of a massive student and faculty protest.  What is unusual about this is that Tyndale is a Christian Evangelical university — the Evangelicals in the US were major players in supporting the former presidential candidate who longed for a brain.  Carrot notes with not a little bemusement that Dubya was endearingly referred to by many in this religious extremist group as, “The Nation’s Minister”.

Canadian PM Stephen Harper

The former US president [sic] is not a novice to this type of warm welcome from the Canadians.  In 2009 he was scheduled to speak to a private group and later to meet with Canada’s Prime Minister Stephen Harper to discuss furthering Canadian troop expansion into the Iraq/Afghanistan occupations, spearheaded by the US under Dubya’s leadership [sic].  Not only did Dubya not get what he wanted in the way of additional Canadian military involvement, he was effectively rode out of Canada on a rail due to tens of thousands of protesters confronting him prior to and after his paid speaking engagement.

Carrot’s Opinion is that Canada is a successful, common sense, pragmatic nation of people who, unlike the United States since the Little Emperor surreptitiously assumed the Office of the president via the Supremes, truly does Walk the Walk and Talk the Talk.  It is also Carrot’s Opinion that George W. Bush left the office in which he was placed — not by the People of course — with the lowest approval ratings of any president in history.  Carrot believes this is due to lowered brain function resulting from chronic alcoholism and intermittent cocaine abuse.  Then again, his performance as president could be attributed to nothing more than Dubya being a feculent, gangrenous piece of anal fungal spore.  Carrot also believes that Dick Cheney, Dubya’s VP, was the real president making the important and terribly flawed decisions for the US.  Carrot reminds our Tasty Tidbits this is an impeccably flawless hypothesis.  Mr. Cheny did, after all, shoot a good friend in the face.  If one can do that…  Carrot is just sayin’.

The latest rebuff, coming from Canada’s Tyndale University, allows you to renew your faith that there is, indeed, some sanity remaining in the world of sentient bipeds.

Carrot gives kudos to the Canadians for continuing to display impeccably good taste and perfectly executed political and social dissent toward the one who attempted to ban dissent in all forms from the US.

We must not confuse dissent with disloyalty.
When the loyal opposition dies, I think the soul of America dies with it.
Edward R. Murrow

Sexytown slug races! Carrot can overlook many of Dubya's errors now. Ohyeah... OHMY! We're having multiple self-waterings!

  1. Wow. Choice picture!

Hey Carrot, I don’t think I ever let you know about the video I made with my reading of your words. I actually FORGET if I told everyone. In case you haven’t seen it, it’s this link: http://wordsfallfrommyeyes.wordpress.com/2011/11/14/lone-blogger-found-around-rambling-other-blogs/ and YOUR PART is at 10:18. I actually seriously think I neglected to tell everyone (this was back in November!) when I finished the project, I thought they’d just see it because they were subbers, but I don’t think I ever told you.

You know, reading this above – your stuff – I admit I don’t know a lot about politics, but wow your opinion is strong. I myself, did not like GW Bush, and I don’t even live there.

    Happy New Year!

    N’n.
